Ano ang gusto mo maging paglaki?
It’s the classic question of titas, titos, and teachers alike to get to know the dreams of young learners. Pero habang lumilipas ang panahon nagbabago ang gusto natin sa buhay. And believe it or not, ok lang yun as long as you keep moving forward para hindi mapabilang sa 3.9 milyong NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) na kabataan* sa Pilipinas.

Bilang extra gabay, ang TrabaHunters ay isa sa career guidance initiatives ng Food for the Hungry, Inc. Branch Office (FHBO). Dahil reality check: Ang hirap na nga maghanap ng trabaho, paano pa kung wala kang koneksyon o di mo alam ang gusto mo? Ang plot twist pa eh hindi pala sakto ang kurso o skills mo sa trabaho (skills mismatch ang tawag dito btw).
Kaya time to take matters into your own hands. Literally hawak mo ang mobile device o keyboard ng computer para ma-access ang samu’t saring resources tulad ng articles, quizzes, videos, Q&A forums, atbp. Bagamat may in-person workshops ang FHBO, naniniwala kami na ang kaalaman ay hindi lang sa school o classroom… at hindi lahat ng eskwelahan ay may guidance counselor.
Sa pamamagitan ng TrabaHunters, nais namin na mas makilala mo ang sarili, mag-practice ng old skills at mag-aral ng bago para maging handa sa iyong career journey. Tulad mo, TrabaHunters is a work in progress kaya abangan ang updates, new articles, activities… at matuto hindi lang sa guest mentors pati sa kapwa TrabaHunters sa Community forums.
